Summary

Goal was simple. Make it easy to place a small, screenless controller in any room and get music control without a laptop or complex pairing ritual. We built the device side firmware and the companion app experience that guides a home user from unboxing to first song in minutes.

FAQ

Does this require special network hardware?

No. It works on standard home routers. Setup expects a 2.4 GHz network for device join.

What if the device is moved to another room or home?

Use the app to reset networking and repeat the onboarding flow. Device rebroadcasts its temporary SSID for provisioning.

Can the controller manage grouped rooms?

Yes. When rooms are grouped in the speaker app, the controller respects group volume.
